Im gonna be real and say I really did not like Wyn going into this… I was like ok, wheres the dude she ditches this one for?? BUT as I read on, he grew on me. The back and forth wit these two had was so clever, it was hard see them push and pull so relentlessly. Kudos to them for keeping the temptation at bay, I would have caved and said “thats tomorrow yous problem” lol. Overall this was different, and I enjoyed it, between the friendships and flashbacks I was pulled in and had trouble putting this down at times. 🌶️ 2/5 The best part of this was the tension and constant back and forth of will they or wont they. But we know they will... Usually that can be annoying, but it was not bad.

Harriet and Wyn were the perfect couple since they met in college, but for some reason, they broke up 6 months ago. While Harriet is on her way to their friend's annual vacation, she finds out that Wyn will also be there and starts to panic. The friends don't know that they broke up, and it seems like a horrible time to tell them. So without really thinking about it, Harriet and Wyn decide to pretend to still be together. During the trip, they are pushed together and forced to play the part of adoring lovers, but it just opens wounds that didn't need opening. This was such a great story. I felt so many emotions while reading! Wyn and Harriet's relationship seemed to just fall apart overnight, but in reality, it was a culmination of many things. I felt that this second-chance romance was so realistic and plausible. People change. People go through things without telling anyone. People need validation. It all hit home, and I loved seeing it in a book.
