Angela Montoya always writes green flag male leads and it’s honestly so refreshing to root for a man for a change. I also adored the family Esmeralda finds with the other carnival performers. Gabriel and especially Camila- she might be my favorite side character of all time! I’m picky about the books I buy - knowing/hoping my 3 daughters will eventually look to my shelves for a swoony romance and I absolutely want them to fall for men like the ones Angela writes! thank you to Joy Revolution & Random House Children's books for this eARC!
