Katy and Mack work together at Calhoun Elementary School. Katy cannot stand Mack, though. When Katy's best friend gets sick and can't go on their planned spring break vacation, she ends up going by herself instead. Later, find out that the place that she's staying in while on vacation has been double booked, and the other person is none other than Mack. They come to a compromise and stay together for spring break. Things heat up during their stay and end up continuing after they go home, too. While neither are addressing what's going on with them, Katy thinks it's just a fling and nothing roo serious. What happens next changes everything. I absolutely loved this story! I love Max Monroe's writing so much and always laugh out loud when reading, and this was no exception. Received an ARC and give my honest review
